QuickBooks Online is one of the most popular small business accounting solutions out there. Unfortunately, it also presents some significant challenges for restaurant and bar clients. The upside is that with a bit of set-up, consistency, and imagination there are not just solutions to most of these issues inside QBO – there are also opportunities to both simplify your workflows and amplify your impact for restaurant and bar clients.


Course Objectives:

Work with and be able to explain the fundamental QBO built-in tool boxes and the main building blocks of each

Understand the definitions of typical workflows and/or concepts being addressed by each tool utilized.

Pinpoint the opportunity types of each tool, as well as the possible use cases for each.

Understand how to use the Chart of Accounts, data entry fields, and general architecture of information to address specific food & beverage industry KPIs and concerns.

Learn flow through solutions for use in customized reporting and standardized bookkeeping workflows.

Communicate and track a few of the most crucial results with clients.

Kristen Nies Ciraldo is a food + finance solutionist, and founder of girlFRIDAYs office — a bookkeeping, systems, tech, and back office advisory house devoted to the independent food and beverage industry.
