Learn how Nimbl grew to $1.5 million in annual recurring revenue in 18 months while operating profitably and without investor capital. About your instructor

Dave is a cloud accounting pioneer and CPA (US and Canada) with information systems, software development, and venture capital background. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Masters in Information Systems and the University of Virginia with a Masters in Accounting. After a Big 4 stint in IT and financial audit, in 2007 he became the virtual CFO for several startups based in both Canada and the United States.

To service multiple clients in multiple locations, he created a cloud accounting practice before he knew what cloud accounting was. He hired a few remote bookkeepers and implemented cloud technology in the early days of Netsuite and Xero. After about 10 years of slow word-of-mouth growth, he was ready to expand his impact by scaling his practice.

In early 2018 he formed Tanalytics, built a remote team, and grew it to $1.5 million in annual recurring revenue within 18 months. In September 2019, Tanalytics was rebranded as Nimbl and continues to scale rapidly.
